Content filtering based on file content

Content filtering determines the file type based on the file content and not on file extensions. This feature complements application identification (App ID) by enabling you to configure the firewall to identify and to control access to the Web (HTTP and HTTPS) traffic and to protect your network from attacks. This content filtering improvement replaces the existing content filtering based on filename extensions and profile-based filtering on application profiles.
