Diagnostic major alarms

A major chassis alarm is raised when the following transient hardware errors occur:

• CPQ SRAM parity error 
• CPQ RLDRAM double-bit ECC error In the Description column of show chassis alarm outputs, these errors are described as 'FPC slot number Major Errors'. 

By default, these errors result in the Packet Forwarding Engines (PFEs) being disabled. You can use the show chassis fpc errors command to view the error details.
