Fabric management

For FPC fabric management, use the [set chassis fpc] CLI command to manage FPC online and offline states gracefully. Ungraceful FPC removal and insertion do not affect system stability; the system remains responsive, and other online FPCs continue to carry traffic. 

Use the [set chassis fabric event reachability-fault] command to configure options for detecting fabric reachability faults and trigger automatic connectivity restoration. 

Use the extended keyword in [show chassis fabric fpcs] and [show chassis fabric sibs] commands to view detailed link information within planes. Identify partially enabled planes with the Degraded keyword in [show chassis fabric fpcs] command.

For an application service module line card (AS MLC), use the following CLI operational mode commands display fabric-related information: 

•  show chassis fabric fpcs 
•  show chassis fabric map 
•  show chassis fabric plane 
•  show chassis fabric plane-location 
•  show chassis fabric reachability 
•  show chassis fabric summary
