Power management and environmental monitoring

Junos OS chassis management software for the routers provides enhanced environmental monitoring and power management. Routers have one RE and MPC. The MPC has one PFE that supports a bandwidth up to 400 Mbps. The MPC supports one fixed Physical Interface Card (PIC) where PIC0 comprises of four QFP28 ports and PIC1 comprises of 8 XSFPP ports. The power supply and the fan trays are upgradable. The cooling system contains three fan assemblies with two fans in each assembly. The chassis has two power supply modules (PSM): DC PSM and AC PSM. Each of these PSMs deliver 650 W of power.
