After you purchase the license and perform the upgrade, MPC8E provides a bandwidth of 1.6 Tbps, which is equivalent to that of MPC9E. However, the MPC continues to be identified as MPC8E.You upgrade the bandwidth by using the set chassis fpc slot bandwidth 1.6T command. You can disable this feature by using the delete chassis fpc slot bandwidth 1.6T command.
