You can connect the HA control links in a chassis cluster using external 10GbE ports on SCB2, SCB3, or SCB4. The Ethernet ports are supported on these types of Switch Control Boards (SCB) as HA control ports. The control link traffic can bypass the SPCs to increase the resiliency of the chassis cluster.
