Behavior aggregate (BA) Classifiers: DSCP IPv6

The BA DSCP IPv6 classifier examines the first six bits of the Traffic Class field in the IPv6 packet header to assign each packet a forwarding class and loss priority. You can use this classifier to ensure that IPv6 traffic receives the appropriate CoS treatment as it enters the network device, mapping code points to output queues and controlling packet discard during congestion. Because it operates on a fixed-length header field, it is computationally efficient, making it well suited for high-volume environments. The goal is to honor upstream CoS objectives for IPv6 traffic by enabling downstream nodes to apply consistent, trust-based per-hop forwarding behavior.
