CoS-DSCP, IEEE 802.1p, and IP precedence packet rewrites on routed VLAN interfaces (RVIs)

This feature allows DSCP, IEEE 802.1p, and IP precedence packets to be altered using CoS rewrite rules. Class-of-service (CoS) policies divide traffic into classes to which you can apply different levels of throughput and packet loss when congestion occurs. This allows packet loss to happen according to rules that you configure.
