Weighted round robin for each level of scheduling

More Information:

Weighted round robin for each level of scheduling

Weighted Round Robin (WRR) enables you to allocate proportional bandwidth across output queues, ensuring fair and prioritized traffic distribution during congestion. You assign each queue a scheduling weight that determines its share of available interface bandwidth, so higher-weighted queues transmit more traffic relative to lower-weighted queues. The scheduler services queues within the same priority level in a round-robin fashion, applying configured weights to govern bandwidth ratios. Unused bandwidth from underutilized queues is shared among other queues, maximizing efficiency. The goal is to prevent any single traffic class from monopolizing the interface while guaranteeing each queue a minimum bandwidth proportional to its weight.
