Increase Shared Buffer Pool

By default, the switch allocates 44.42 MB of the total 64 MB of global buffer space to shared buffers. The switch allocates the remaining buffer space to dedicated buffers (ingress and egress). You can decrease the global dedicated buffer space from the default value. effectively increasing the global shared buffer space to up to 60 MB.

You can also define a dedicated buffer profile to increase or decrease the dedicated buffer allocated to an individual port. This feature is particularly useful for decreasing dedicated buffer space on unused or down ports, thereby increasing dedicated buffer space available to active ports.
