Priority queuing enables you to control the order in which output queues transmit traffic, ensuring that delay-sensitive traffic?such as voice?receives preferential access to interface bandwidth. You assign each queue a scheduling priority level (from low to strict-high), so higher-priority queues are serviced before lower-priority ones. Strict-high priority queues are always serviced first, transmitting all configured bandwidth before other queues are served; lower-priority queues receive the remaining bandwidth.
