MAC Limit per Interface Packet action

You use MAC limiting to limit the number of MAC addresses that can be learned within a VLAN. You can enable one of the following actions on the incoming packets when the MAC limit is reached (along with disabling MAC learning): - None (default)-Forward the traffic. - Drop - Drop traffic for unlearned source MAC addresses. - Log-Generate an alarm, a SNMP trap, or a system log and forward the packet. - Drop and Log-Generate an alarm, an SNMP trap, or a system log and drop the traffic for unlearned source MAC addresses. - Shutdown-Shut down the interface after the MAC limit is reached.
