The addition of 1G support is beneficial for customers maintaining older 1G connections and for low-speed uplink/downlink applications. The chassis offers 1G options in the port profile configuration, which is available on all ports. Previously, MX devices only supported speeds of 400G, 100G, 40G, 10G, and 25G.
