MPLS over IPv4 UDP encapsulation and de-encapsulation

This feature enables MPLS traffic to be encapsulated in IPv4 UDP packets for transport across IP networks and de-encapsulated at the receiving device to recover the MPLS payload for forwarding. On platforms that support flexible tunnel interfaces, an FTI can provide the tunnel framework for UDP-based transport, with MPLS traffic enabled on the tunnel through the appropriate port profile.
