Autonegotiation on Gigabit Ethernet interfaces

Exchange of the following parameters is supported: speed and duplex mode. Autonegotiation can be enabled or disabled. When autonegotiation is disabled, the speed has to be explicitly configured to 10-100 Mbps. To configure autonegotiation, include the auto-negotiation statement at the [edit interfaces interface-name gigether-options] hierarchy level. To disable the autonegotiation, include the no-auto-negotiation statement at the [edit interfaces interface-name gigether-options] hierarchy level.
