Juniper Ethernet physical interface (IFD) MTU size of 9500 bytes

This feature increases the Ethernet IFD maximum transmission unit from 9192 bytes to 9500 bytes. The increased MTU size meets the jumbo frame size of 9500 bytes used by some carriers and service providers. You set the MTU size in the mtu mtu-number statement at the [edit interface interface-name] hierarchy level.
