SONET/SDH APS using container interfaces

A single container interface can be configured to support primary and backup physical interfaces for Automatic Protection Switching (APS). Container interfaces support SONET only (not SDH) and can be used on all router platforms with any two SONET interfaces on the same Routing Engine.
