Persistent designated router status for last-hop routers

You can configure a designated router to persist according to your design criteria instead of being subject to the potential vagaries of designated router election logic. The stickydr feature can prevent traffic loss in a scenario where designated router election changes following an interface-down event or device upgrade. To enable designated router persistence on a configured LAN, enable stickydr on all the last-hop routers in the LAN.
