MPLS ping

The ping mpls command is a diagnostic tool based on RFC 4379 that you can use to verify data plane connectivity and label forwarding across an MPLS network. By sending UDP echo request packets encapsulated with MPLS labels to an egress node, you can quickly detect transit failures, validate active paths, and ensure proper end-to-end circuit operability.
