Multicast LDP (mLDP) link protection

This feature enables link protection for multicast LDP (mLDP) point-to-multipoint LSPs to provide fast reroute when a link in the multicast distribution tree fails. You can configure an explicit backup tunnel so that traffic is rerouted while the IGP reconverges and mLDP establishes a new upstream path. Make-before-break (MBB) behavior helps minimize packet loss by signaling the replacement LSP path before the existing path is removed. The feature also supports targeted LDP for mLDP link protection.
