RSVP-TE CBF 16 Classes

More Information:

RSVP-TE CBF 16 Classes

You use CoS-based forwarding (CBF) to steer traffic over different next hops (including over different RSVP-TE LSPs), depending on the forwarding class of the packet. You can apply CBF to all routes or to only a defined set of routes, by applying a CoS next-hop mapping policy within the routing policy. One common use for CBF and next-hop maps is to enforce different handling for different traffic types, such as voice and video. For example, you can use an LSP-based next hop pointing to the "gold" RSVP-TE LSP for voice and video, and a non-LSP-based next hop for best-effort traffic. This feature introduces CBF support with up to 16 forwarding classes.
