RSVP-TE TE++ IGP Adjacency

More Information:

RSVP-TE TE++ IGP Adjacency

A forwarding adjacency is a traffic engineering label-switched path (LSP) that is configured between two nodes and used by an interior gateway protocol (IGP) to forward traffic. By default, an IGP does not consider MPLS traffic engineering tunnels between sites, for traffic forwarding. Forwarding adjacency treats a traffic engineering LSP tunnel as a link in an IGP topology, thus allowing the nodes in the network also to forward the IP traffic to reach the destination over this forwarding adjacency LSP. A forwarding adjacency can be created between routing devices regardless of their location in the network. To advertise a container LSP as an IGP forwarding adjacency, the LSP name needs to be configured either under IS-IS or OSPF. This feature introduces forwarding adjacency support over container LSPs in a TE++ architecture.
