MPLS ping for segment routing (IS-IS Segment)

You can use MPLS ping for IS-IS segment routing segments to diagnose the state of label-switched paths (LSPs) toward a specific segment routing forwarding equivalence class (FEC) advertised by IS-IS. Based on how the LSP outbound (egress) node at the remote endpoint of the connection replies to the probes, you can determine the connectivity of the IS-IS segment routing FEC.
