Alarm MIB

Junos OS supports RFC 3877, Alarm MIB, which provides the generic SNMP-based alarm management framework to address the problems occurring on a particular network resource. The jnxAlarmMib reports active alarms and the history of alarms through the SNMP MIB tables. A new daemon called alarm management daemon, AlarmMgmtD, reports notifications defined in the alarm model table. The Alarm MIB is currently supported only on the MX Series.
