    Input filter-based forwarding

    Filter-based forwarding on ingress traffic is supported on the PTX Series router. This feature enables the user to configure a filter that classifies packet flows based upon packet fields and redirect the packets through different user-configured forwarding tables. Input filter-based forwarding is supported for IPv4 and IPv6 traffic only.
