This feature introduces fast lookup filters for family mpls filters, where filter block hardware is used to execute the firewall filters. This optimization enhances the speed at which specific firewall filters are processed, by allowing for an increase in the number of firewall filter operations per second that can be accomplished. Using the filter block hardware and the fast-lookup-filter option in environments with hundreds or thousands of terms per filter can increase performance of those filters.
