BGP Origin Validation using resource public key infrastructure (RPKI) is a specialized PKI framework designed to secure the Internet's routing infrastructure.
RPKI uses rsync and RPKI Repository Delta Protocol (RRDP) publication protocols to distribute RPKI certificates. This allows you to use the RPKI data to retrieve certificates from the Regional Internet Registries (RIRs) and store them in the cache. Router uses RPKI-to-router (RPKI-RTR) protocol to retrieve the entire RPKI database from the caches.
This feature enhances TCP dump capability to decode packets of protocols used in RPKI framework. You can use the feature during PRKI troubleshooting.
