Dynamic peer AS range for BGP groups

You can configure acceptable autonomous system (AS) ranges for EBGP groups that can be used for bringing up BGP peers while establishing a BGP session. BGP accepts a peer request based on the configured AS range and rejects a peer request if the AS does not fall into the specified range. This allows you to control BGP peering when the neighbor's exact IP address is not known. To define peer AS range for BGP groups through policy, you can include the as-list statement at the [edit policy-options] hierarchy level. To include the specified peer AS list, include the peer-as-list peer-as-list statement at the [edit protocols bgp group group-name] hierarchy level.
