Subscriber Services: 3GPP Fixed wireless access subscribers on BNGs

You can configure the broadband network gateway (BNG) to support subscribers in a fixed wireless access network. The BNG acts as the Third-Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) System Architecture Evolution Gateway (SAEGW). The SAEGW incorporates the functions of both the Serving Gateway (SGW) and the Packet Data Network Gateway (PGW). The SGW function routes and forwards user data packets. The PGW function provides connectivity to external packet data networks.
