Filter text substring in system log messages

A new configuration statement, match-string, helps you display specified text substrings in the system log messages when using the show system syslog statement. The match-string configuration statement can be configured at the following hierarchy levels:

• edit system syslog file
• edit system syslog host
• edit system syslog user

This statement can be configured along with the match configuration statement. In addition, it reduces the CPU usage while filtering the text substring in the system log messages.
