Dedicated Virtual Chassis port link aggregation

The dedicated Virtual Chassis ports (VCPs) automatically form a link aggregation group (LAG) bundle when two or more dedicated VCPs are used to interconnect the same Virtual Chassis member switches. The LAG provides more bandwidth than a single dedicated VCP can provide, and it provides VCP redundancy by load-balancing traffic across all available dedicated VCPs in the LAG. If one of the dedicated VCPs fails, the VCP traffic is automatically load-balanced across the remaining dedicated VCPs in the LAG.
