L2 circuit cross connect (CCC): BGP classful transport and service mapping
This feature introduces BGP Classful Transport (BGP-CT) planes for Layer 2 VPN services. Use this feature to configure transport classes for classifying a set of transport tunnels in an intra-AS network based on the traffic engineering characteristics. The transport classes put the set of transport tunnels in separate transport routing information bases (RIBs) and use these transport RIBs to resolve Layer 2 VPN service routes with the desired service-level agreement (SLA) and intended fallback.
BGP-CT planes can extend these tunnels to interdomain networks that span multiple domains (autonomous systems or IGP areas) while preserving the transport class. To do this, you must configure the BGP-CT layer BGP family between the border and service nodes.
