Increased scaling values for next-hop-based dynamic GRE tunnels

More Information:

Increased scaling values for next-hop-based dynamic GRE tunnels

The limit for the maximum number of next-hop-based dynamic generic routing encapsulation (GRE) tunnels that can be created on routers with MPCs or MICs is increased. This provides additional scaling advantage for the total number of IP tunnels that can be created on the router. The increased scaling values of next-hop-based dynamic GRE tunnels benefits data center networks, where a gateway router is required to communicate with a number of servers over an IP infrastructure; for example, in Contrail networking.
