Enables you to connect a site to multiple provider edge (PE) devices. This provides redundant connectivity for the virtual private LAN service (VPLS) routing instance in case the PE device-to-customer edge (CE) device link fails or the PE device itself fails. This feature also prevents routing loops from forming between the customer network and the service provider network.
