Packet capture sensor

Supported platforms can export captured packets using the Juniper Telemetry Infrastructure. The dynamic PCAP functionality records the first configured number of host-bound packets (N) for each physical interface and exports this information to an external collector for debugging. You can use this data to monitor traffic sources as it provides real-time information, which helps identify and resolve network or performance issues.

To enable packet capture, use the [edit system packet-forwarding-options packet-capture packet-capture-enable] option.
