Enable DHCP fingerprint forwarding to send validated client DHCP messages to fingerprint servers. This action preserves normal relay or local server processing. Fingerprinting servers analyze DHCP option sets and ordering to derive the device fingerprints. Use this capability to detect and block unauthorized devices, classify endpoints, assign VLANs or subnets by type, and apply device-specific policies. Configure fingerprint-server-group and active-fingerprint-server-group under dhcp-local-server or forwarding-options dhcp-relay. Optionally, set logical-system, routing-instance, and per-group overrides.
