Layer 2 (IEEE 802.1p) classification on IRB interfaces

You can apply Layer 2 (IEEE 802.1p) classification on IRB interfaces for consistent class of service (CoS) across routed and switched traffic. The IRB Layer 2 classifier propagates to underlying Layer 2 interfaces, temporarily overrides their classifiers, and restores them when you remove the IRB classifier. You can configure either Layer 2 or Layer 3 classification on an IRB interface, but not both. To apply an IEEE 802.1p classifier to an IRB interface, set classifiers ieee-802.1 classifier-name at the [edit class-of-service interfaces irb unit unit-number] hierarchy level.
