In-service hitless kernel warm reboot

More Information:

In-service hitless kernel warm reboot

You can perform an in-service hitless kernel warm reboot to minimize traffic loss and prevent interface flapping. Initiate the reboot using the request system reboot hitless command, or use the no-confirm option to bypass prompts. Reboot status and details are available via show system software hitless reboot. The operation is cancelled if another reboot is pending, upgrade tasks are active, ISSU prerequisites (such as BGP graceful restart) are not met, or application configuration validation fails. Hitless reboot is supported only for protocols and configurations that are supported by ISSU.
