PiTrace actively traces key IS-IS events, monitors BGP for CPU-intensive operations, and gathers operational data for RSVP and MPLS. The system allows binary and legacy text logging to function simultaneously.
To configure tracing levels and retention, use the commands set system pixel-tracing level {any|critical|debug|info|none} and set system pixel-tracing files {1..1000}. Clear the logs by executing the command request system pixel-tracing routing flush.
