You can drop unknown optional transitive BGP attributes or withdraw routes carrying these attributes to prevent the propagation of malformed or harmful attributes across BGP peers. Apply the configurations at the BGP global, group, or neighbor level for comprehensive control. You can specify exceptions for attributes that should not be dropped or cause route withdrawal.
To display the unknown optional transitive BGP attributes, use the enhanced show BGP neighbor and show log messages commands.
