Use pseudowire (ps) interfaces to terminate EVPN-VPWS pseudowires into EVPN-ELAN, streamline service stitching, and increase resiliency. You configure the ps transport interface for VPWS access and the ps service interfaces for Ethernet LAN (E-LAN). Apply ESI-based DF election in active/active or active/standby mode. Optionally use VLAN-unaware flexible cross-connect (FXC) to conserve labels. Transports include LDP, RSVP-TE, and SR-MPLS, with egress link protection, control word, and flow label options. Use existing operational commands for configuration and verification. EVPN E-LAN does not support VLAN-aware FXC termination.
