On supported devices, you can disable MAC address aging per VLAN so that MAC entries in that VLAN do not age out. This configuration reduces flooding and traffic loss in VLANs with stable endpoints and supplements the global MAC aging timer (default 300 seconds) or its adjustment. To disable MAC address aging, configure the no-mac-aging option at the VLAN level through the CLI.
