The http-metadata-get probe type for Real-Time Performance Monitoring (RPM) sends HTTP GET requests for metadata to a target URL over IPv4 or IPv6. You can use it to actively monitor the availability and responsiveness of remote endpoints, enabling service-level performance measurement including round-trip time, jitter, and packet loss.
